The careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one's care. As Christians, we affirm the belief that people are stewards or managers of God's gifts. As Methodists, we believe that God has gifted us with our time and our resources, and that we are to share a portion of those things which God has entrusted to us.
Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University is a 13-week, life-changing program that empowers and teaches you how to make the right money decisions to achieve your financial goals and God's plan for your life. The course includes practical lessons on eliminating debt, building wealth, giving like never before, and much, much more! Each session includes a video insruction by Dave Ramsey, followed by discussion and small group time. Ways to Give
General Fund
It is through the general fund that the church supports ministry to its members and guests. Administrative costs such as clergy/staff salaries, monthly utilities and age-level ministries are supported through the general fund. Also through the general fund, our apportionments are paid into our connectional system that allows us to support The United Methodist Church as a whole.
God Box
The God Box offering is given over-and-above our regular giving to support FUMC Pearland's many Missions Ministries. God Box funds can be dropped into the "God Box" located near the altar during worship services or given to the church office with the designation "God Box". Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor
FUMC Pearland is part of the Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor program. When you present your Kroger Share Card at the register, a percentage of your purchase will be donated to the church. To get set up, download and print the form. Then follow the instructions on the form.
