Ways to Serve Inside Our Walls
Celebration Worship Team
Opportunities to serve include singers, instrumentalists, audio technicians, video technicians, videographers, Welcome Team members, greeters, ushers, communion servers, and Prayer Partners. Service opportunities in each of these areas may be structured on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.

Children's Sunday Morning Program
The following opportunities can be done monthly, bi-monthly or every Sunday:
1. Greet parents and children and help them check in at the Parent Pager computers from 9:00-9:30 a.m. or 10:00-10:30 a.m.
2. Participate in skits for the children during their Large Assembly from 9:15-9:45 a.m. Materials provided.
3. Be Small Group Leaders for children from 9:15-10:15 a.m. Materials provided.

Sanctuary Choir
Sing in the sanctuary choir. The choir sings on Sunday mornings at the 8:15 and 10:30 traditional worship services and at special events and services such as Christmas and Easter cantatas/musicals. Rehearsals take place every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the choir room located in the Bethel Building.

Acolyte
Acolytes bring the light (fire) into the sanctuary to remind us that God is present during our worship service. Acolytes extinguish the candles and walk out of the sanctuary with their candle lighters, reminding us that we take the light of Christ and scatter it out into the world. Acolytes are needed for the 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. traditional worship services.

The Family Ministries Team sponsors family-oriented events for FUMC Pearland members as well as for the community. Volunteers are needed to help in planning and carrying out these events. (Examples: Sonrise Breakfast, Fall Fest).
