First United Methodist Church of
Pearland, Texas Library collection
contains approximately
6,000 volumes of reference and
inspirational books, tapes, videos,
CD's and DVD's with an estimated
value of $72,000.00. Primary
concentration for materials in the
library is on the 200 or religious
section of the Dewey Decimal Library
Classification System. The
collection includes fiction and
non-fiction items for all ages.
Special sections have been
designated for Methodist related
materials, John Wesley and the other
Wesley's, Bibles and Jim Fleming.
Through your giving, our church
library experiences growth and keeps
current and updated on latest
available information. You may
contribute to your church library in
several different ways:

Memorials-Cash or gift
contributions in memory of a
loved one may be made through
the church office or library
volunteer staff.

Honorariums-Cash or gift
donations in honor of a friend,
teacher, newborn baby,
grand-child, grandparent or
other loved one may be given
through the church office or
library volunteer staff.

Cash-Monetary gifts directed
for library use is greatly
appreciated.

Contributions-Actual books,
tapes, CD's, DVD's etc. may be
purchased and given directly to
the library.

Donations-Gently used books,
videos (in very good condition)
etc. are also accepted.

Suggestions for material to
be included in your church
library are always appreciated.
The
church library preserves and
maintains important church
historical documents, records,
information, and other materials.
You may contribute to Pearland
Methodist Church or other related
items you have saved through the
years by contacting Helen Gabriel,
Archive Librarian, or any of the
other library volunteers.
The library contains a special
section of reference materials that
must be used within the library.
These books may not be checked out
or removed from the library.
Please plan to study and use these
books in the library only.
There is also a special section of
reference materials that may be
checked out.

Sunday 8:30 - Noon
Tuesday 10:00 - 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday 10:00 - 2:00 p.m.
