Walk the Labryinth
As you prepare for Holy Week and Easter, the Labyrinth will be set up in the Assembly Room Tuesday, April 16 thru Friday, April 19. You are invited to explore walking the Labyrinth any time you are at the church during this time. At the entrance to the Assembly Room there will be several suggestions for you to consider as you walk the labyrinth, and there will a few places to sit before and after your walk for a moment of prayer and reflection.
Labyrinths can be a part of your prayer life, a time to simply experience a time of quiet, a time to reflect on some question you are struggling with, or another time to simply “Be with God”. Learn more here
If you have other questions about the Labyrinth or want to talk about your experience you may contact Rev. Barbara Fyffe or Susan McElya who have worked together to prepare the Labyrinth Walk for this Holy Week.
The Living Last Supper with Communion
April 18, 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary. Experience the last supper with Jesus and his disciples. Through drama and music, this story is brought to life to remind us of the events leading to Good Friday.
Were You There?
April 19, 7:00 pm in the Family Life Center
I was there. Jesus was born among us. He lived among us. And he died among us. I can feel that his pain was very real just as my pain is very real. Not just for me, but for all the world that suffers. How much easier is it to just simply ignore the great debt that Jesus paid for you, and for me? Jesus knew he would rise again. He knew he didn’t have to die. Why bother? Why not use miraculous powers to stop the crucifixion. Why go through all this human pain? What am I to understand from all of this?
Join us for a glorious day! There will be children's programming and four different worship services. Traditional worship in the Sanctuary at 8:30 & 10:45 am and Celebration worship in the Family Life Center at 9:00 & 10:45 am. The nursery will be open at 8:15 am and remain open throughout the services.
